The Lord showed us unusal favor with the Japanese. Without explanation the locals were drawn to us and wanted to engage us in conversation. One day we visited a bakery to buy some donuts. The Japanese greeted us kindly, as they do with all of their customers, but something seemed different. We connected with them a bit more over the next few days while shopping and on our last day when we stopped by to tell them we were flying back to the United States something extraordinary happened. The Japanese stopped working and came out from the kitchen and began crying. We were just a couple strangers coming in to buy donuts yet God did something special. God connected our hearts in such a way the people didn't want us to go. The love of Christ works in mysterious ways and we have many stories where the Japanese were drawn to us for no apparent reason other than the Lord moving on behalf of his gospel message. Your gift makes more moments like these possible.
Unfortunately, with current missionary organizations and churches in Japan, becoming a missionary in Japan involves a lot of red tape and wasted time. Along with that, missionaries find it difficult to overcome the language barrier which comes with many peripheral issues such as difficulty finding housing, setting up utilities, obtaining a vehicle, traversing the bus, monorail, and train systems, handling yen conversion, and most importantly, sharing the gospel.
At Redeem Japan we have eliminated all of these obstacles for missionaries enabling them to have a pleasant transition into Japan, ease adapting to the culture, and a fruitful evangelism experience. We provide culture and proselytising orientations as well as furnished housing (dorm) with paid utilities and transportation. Missionaries are given the necessary tools to be successful in every aspect of their ministry.
In cutting the red tape and unnecessary service commitments we make becoming a missionary to Japan an easy and focused endeavor.
In providing coaching and housing we set missionaries up for great success. With your help we can flood Japan with missionaries.
