Everybody loves Japan, and for good reason. The country is clean, food is an artwork, and the people are great. And with that, comes a culture that runs deep. And if that culture is disrupted, it's greatly frowned upon. Navigating the Japanese culture successfully is a must when sharing the Gospel and we'll make sure you're properly equipped.

First and foremost, the single purpose for the existence of Redeem Japan is to share the Gospel of Jesus with the Japanese. And not only to share it, but to do so in a manner that will be well-received. The Bible does state that the Gospel is an offense to the unsaved, but there is a difference between offending someone with the Gospel and offending someone with your presentation of the Gospel. We have a proven technique to present the Gospel in a culturally acceptable, respectful, kind, well-received manner.

We don't stop at sharing the Gospel. We do our best to provide ongoing support for any Japanese that have an interest in Christ.  Therefore, we establish partnerships with local Japanese churches and point those whom we witness to in their direction. These churches and other local assets are positioned to support the Japanese from simple Q&A to discipleship.

Understanding the culture helps us to leverage social media to our benefit in helping interested Japanese, many of whom will not set foot in a church. We are able to use Instagram, Line, and other platforms to continue our outreach, eventually getting our new Japanese friends comfortable with visiting a local church.
